Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stig-Åke Tunström made the kick off which started today's match. Joacim Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Åke Tunström. In the 7th minute, Stig-Åke Tunström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. Småland Utd made a substitution. Frank Berggren replaced Stig-Åke Tunström. In the 11th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim Hultman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Ove Lövgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Gösta Gustafsson sent off a good shot on target. Joacim Hultman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Småland Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Agustín Saelices got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joacim Hultman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 28 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Berggren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Lövgren came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Ove Lövgren made a great header on Småland Utd's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Joacim Hultman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Småland Utd's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joacim Hultman came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Småland Utd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Småland Utd's Joacim Hultman did a great save. Frank Berggren struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Småland Utd. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Berggren came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Småland Utd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 73 played minutes Småland Utd got a freekick which was hit by Algot Brask. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobias Svanér hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joacim Hultman. Småland Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Småland Utd's Joacim Hultman got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Berggren in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Småland Utd booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Wennersten kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Småland Utd could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
