Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jeronimo Errapel made the kick off and thus started the match. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Arias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute, Jeronimo Errapel made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Errapel got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Xabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Conrado Emesto hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Bonifacio Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jeronimo Errapel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Arias took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Bonifacio Arias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 6-0 in the 43 minute of play. Sebastian Xabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. SOUTH THUNDER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Venegas in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Xabier saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

50 minutes in the game Grant Grant did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Augusto Procopio. Sebastian Xabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 53rd minute of play. Augusto Procopio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. When SOUTH THUNDER's Jeronimo Errapel in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Xabier having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Arias in the 63rd minute of the match. Grant Grant kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Arias came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeronimo Errapel who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Conrado Emesto. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Jeronimo Errapel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joshua Secada hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SOUTH THUNDER had played much better football throughout.
