Filiberto Lluis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pajala Sunrise's 王 江志锋 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilberto Fernandez. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Doug Las Casas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute, Pajala Sunrise's Doug Las Casas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Pajala Sunrise's 王 江志锋 got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 王 江志锋 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Gilberto Fernandez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gilberto Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 王 江志锋, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With his leg Gilberto Fernandez managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Pajala Sunrise's 王 江志锋 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute Doug Las Casas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Fernandez having to interfere. When Karl-Oskar Högman fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pajala Sunrise's protests and gave Karl-Oskar Högman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Karl-Oskar Högman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Milan getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gilberto Tadzio hit a great ball. Milan's Gilberto Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 王 江志锋 in the 43rd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiberto Lluis to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, 王 江志锋 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Stig Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gilberto Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Roger Heggert made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Fernandez. Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Roger Heggert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pajala Sunrise's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Heggert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Friberger in the 84th minute of play. When Pajala Sunrise's Johannes Friberger in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Milan's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Milan defense, Johannes Friberger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Fernandez. The Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Fernandez should have stopped the shot.
