Edward Domaracki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Teodosio Cerda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gerónimo Alonso fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportes Santa Cruz's protests and gave Gerónimo Alonso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Deportes Santa Cruz getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gerónimo Alonso hit a great ball. Edward Domaracki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Teodosio Cerda made a huge save. 36 minutes into the game, Abel Gana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Piotr Jakisz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Domaracki came free, but Teodosio Cerda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Feliks Cwojdak was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. Edward Domaracki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Cerda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute unicestwiacze were awarded a corner. Boruc Plucinik went to the cornerflag to take it. Edward Domaracki's late challenge caught a Club Deportes Santa Cruz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Domaracki helped the player get up and apologised. Edward Domaracki kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
