With an all-out effort, Coupon Busters II AR's Ovidio Oto threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cesar Bikendi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Artemio Edwardo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by OLYMPIACOS FC's Bernabe Normando. But to his dismay, Bernabe Normando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th minute, Silverio Firme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Edwardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Cayo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Coupon Busters II AR's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Brais came free, but Artemio Edwardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Coupon Busters II AR defense, Elpidio Brais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Edwardo. The Coupon Busters II AR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Edwardo should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Lazcano was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Laureano Colas made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Florencio Jacob was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, one of OLYMPIACOS FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 66th minute, OLYMPIACOS FC's Santos Lazcano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artemio Edwardo. Artemio Edwardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Santos Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Artemio Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coupon Busters II AR's Fabian Carlomagno got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cirilo Chayo hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Laureano Colas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Oto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Carlomagno in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Oto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaudencio Xabel hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Elpidio Brais recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artemio Edwardo. Elpidio Brais showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Bikendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Coupon Busters II AR's Cesar Bikendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Oto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Fabian Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Santos Lazcano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artemio Edwardo, 3-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. OLYMPIACOS FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
