Frederico Hendrickx had several of the Putra Rewulu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Adrianus Tambunan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico Hendrickx in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrianus Tambunan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Hendrickx came free, but Adrianus Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Ledesma in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan got control of the ball when Holin Probohudono tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th match minute, PHOENIX SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holin Probohudono to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Adjat Inzaghi came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray Clemence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onur Ali Tulun, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Holin Probohudono came free, but Adrianus Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, PHOENIX SC's Adrianus Tambunan threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Holin Probohudono, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adrianus Tambunan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yonas Sutrisna in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onur Ali Tulun in the 35th minute of play forced PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, PHOENIX SC's Lilcho Ilchov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adrianus Tambunan. Adrianus Tambunan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Frederico Hendrickx scored 3-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrianus Tambunan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Adrianus Tambunan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holin Probohudono in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to PHOENIX SC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Lilcho Ilchov hit a great ball. Lilcho Ilchov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adjat Inzaghi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ray Clemence made a huge save. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holin Probohudono in the 65th minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sun Chao Mo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sun Chao Mo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes PHOENIX SC got a freekick which was hit by Sun Chao Mo. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilcho Ilchov in the 74th minute of play. Adrianus Tambunan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holin Probohudono in the 75th minute of play. Onur Ali Tulun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Clemence having to interfere. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilcho Ilchov in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence got control of the ball when Tiburcio Ledesma tried to sneak it across the goal line.
