PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gofar Pohan in the 17th minute of play. A hard shot 18 in the game by Lilcho Ilchov from a close distance when the talented Aras Sophian managed to make a qualified save. Kranji Crunchy's players were relieved. The attack was good, but when Lilcho Ilchov in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Lilcho Ilchov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Aras Sophian made a huge save. Kranji Crunchy's Aras Sophian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Kranji Crunchy from getting a goal against them. Aras Sophian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Hendrickx in the 30th minute of the match. Gofar Pohan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Kranji Crunchy's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Hendrickx came free, but Aras Sophian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aras Sophian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holin Probohudono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gofar Pohan might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ray Clemence. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gofar Pohan ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gofar Pohan came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bule Amin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Hendrickx to make the kick off. Lilcho Ilchov kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Lilcho Ilchov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Sophian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adit Syamsuddn hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gofar Pohan could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Ray Clemence however easily saved by the left post. After 63 minutes PHOENIX SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filip Barbosu who took care of the corner kick. Filip Barbosu made a great header on Kranji Crunchy's corner, it was just that PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Hendrickx in the 65th minute of play forced Kranji Crunchy's goalkeeper Aras Sophian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yonas Sutrisna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aras Sophian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Adit Syamsuddn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dian Hatala kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PHOENIX SC had won after a very even match.
