A well-hit corner resulted in Uriel Asier heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Marno F.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Zeledon Victoro hit a great ball. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Carballar came free, but Aldo Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Martin Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marno F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Bieito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Jokin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Cefero got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Mónos's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Jokin in the 31st minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Mónos. The supporters of Colombia booed when Marno F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Sandwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Zeledon Victoro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zeledon Victoro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 54th minute of play forced Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Asier in the 60th minute of play. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Beltxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Aldo Beltxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Aldo Beltxe in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Beltxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Marno F.C.'s Zeledon Valiente was substituted for Igor Jokin. Marno F.C. made a substitution. Cristobal Dominix replaced Uriel Asier. 81 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Marno F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. But to his dismay, Abram Secada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The Colombia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Marno F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
