With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gigel Bucur in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Vimaro saved La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting behind. 6 minutes into the game, Ian Pansby threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Maquina 9-12-18's Hidayet Baran quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 6 played minutes La Maquina 9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Hidayet Baran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Vachon in the 9th minute of play forced Toronto Marlies FC's goalkeeper Anfilogino Amicone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Toronto Marlies FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Vachon came free, but Anfilogino Amicone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bastien Domenge received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anfilogino Amicone came out and tried to block the shot, but Bastien Domenge slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Anfilogino Amicone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Gaardahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastien Domenge in the 26th minute of play forced Toronto Marlies FC's goalkeeper Anfilogino Amicone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to La Maquina 9-12-18 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hidayet Baran hit a great ball. Anfilogino Amicone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Vachon in the 31st minute of play. Bastien Domenge struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Anfilogino Amicone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Maquina 9-12-18. Anfilogino Amicone made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Albert Gaardahl sent off a good shot on target. Gigel Bucur's late challenge caught a La Maquina 9-12-18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gigel Bucur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Gigel Bucur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Bucur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Toronto Marlies FC fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Toronto Marlies FC's Gigel Bucur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmelo Vachon to make the kick off. In the 68th minute, one of La Maquina 9-12-18:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Maquina 9-12-18. Jose Vimaro had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Gigel Bucur's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 71 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Bucur. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Vachon in the 73rd minute of play forced Toronto Marlies FC's goalkeeper Anfilogino Amicone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfilogino Amicone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Daniel Passarelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Maquina 9-12-18's Candido Ebardo was substituted for Albert Gaardahl. In the 77th match minute, Toronto Marlies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Passarelli to maneuver through the defense. In the 80thth minute of the game Gigel Bucur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tracy Narcisse kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Ebardo in the 89th minute of play. Toronto Marlies FC made a substitution. Gaston Rader replaced Qin Xing Shu. The corner led La Maquina 9-12-18's Bastien Domenge to fire away a dangerous shot which Anfilogino Amicone despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jose Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Bucur in the 92nd minute of play. The throw-in from Rafael Nahia in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Toronto Marlies FC's Tomas Ånger.
