The audience was convinced that Jorge Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. During the 11th minute of the match Jose Correa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jose Correa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Lima in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Jorge Lima dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0.
