BK Gubbhöft's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 7th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Hybbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Hybbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Folke Hybbert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute, Marcus Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 13th minute of play forced BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Folke Hybbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Hybbert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Folke Hybbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Folke Hybbert. BK Gubbhöft's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 24th match minute, BK Gubbhöft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Alegren to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Folke Hybbert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Folke Hybbert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Joacim Låsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Folke Hybbert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Roy Rönn lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in BK Gubbhöft fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! BK Gubbhöft's Folke Hybbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute of play forced BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Folke Hybbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Folke Hybbert. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. BK Gubbhöft's Folke Hybbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 63rd minute of play. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BK Gubbhöft's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Alberto Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Folke Hybbert, making the score, 1-8. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Folke Hybbert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 70th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Folke Hybbert, 1-9. 75 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Folke Hybbert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Gaona. Folke Hybbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BK Gubbhöft's Folke Hybbert did a great save. Folke Hybbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 82nd minute of play. Folke Hybbert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-10 in the 85 minute of play. Folke Hybbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BK Gubbhöft's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Hybbert came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Folke Hybbert came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Gaona slotted it home off the left post making it 1-11 in the 96th minute.
