Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play forced Fomac FK's goalkeeper Erland Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Iacob Pascu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Fomac FK's Armando Paraibano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 36 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flóki Ólafsson in the 40th minute of play.

Erland Söderberg made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. When Armando Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Fomac FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Paraibano couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fomac FK's Erland Söderberg. Erland Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Erland Söderberg in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Fomac FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Armando Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Armando Paraibano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iacob Pascu during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Iacob Pascu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Erland Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Fomac FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrievs Žuromskis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Söderberg having to interfere. Peder Rolfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
