Thanks to some nice moves André Vizitiu could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. 9 minutes into the match, Moisés Hoffmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Wanderson Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EngTULIO&Tupipano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wanderson Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When André Vizitiu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the EngTULIO&Tupipano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Vizitiu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. In the 28th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Wanderson Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 35th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fan Guang Lin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Andrade in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iuri Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind EngTULIO&Tupipano's goalkeeper Fan Guang Lin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to EngTULIO&Tupipano getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Guillermo Quintana hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fan Guang Lin skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Vizitiu in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Moisés Hoffmann got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Wanderson Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the EngTULIO&Tupipano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Sabóia couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Vizitiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Vizitiu in the 65th minute of the match. Fan Guang Lin made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, EngTULIO&Tupipano's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Fan Guang Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Fan Guang Lin got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 77th minute of play forced EngTULIO&Tupipano's goalkeeper Fan Guang Lin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EngTULIO&Tupipano's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luis Andino 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Moisés Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Moisés Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute André Vizitiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Sabóia in the 89th minute of play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EngTULIO&Tupipano throughout the match.
