Bancruz F.C's Ciro Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Bancruz F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Ciro Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Nerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Çelikan Koçaş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bancruz F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bancruz F.C.
