AlmaToran's Loreto Palanques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 6th minute of play. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loreto Palanques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AlmaToran's Loreto Palanques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 12th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after AlmaToran's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Agustín Saelices drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind AlmaToran's goalkeeper. In the 17th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loreto Palanques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loreto Palanques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Loreto Palanques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Ponce in the 28th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arotza Dobarral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipolito Ponce in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. AlmaToran were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arotza Dobarral took the corner. Hipolito Ponce in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Loreto Palanques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Loreto Palanques in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Garival kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, AlmaToran's goalkeeper Loreto Palanques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. In the 57th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 57 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Loreto Palanques made a huge save. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after AlmaToran's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Sancho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Loreto Palanques quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loreto Palanques having to make a save. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AlmaToran! AlmaToran's Loreto Palanques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save AlmaToran from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play forced AlmaToran's goalkeeper Loreto Palanques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
