Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) USA's Cassius Byrne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mauro Esiquio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Cassius Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Dalmai in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Serafim Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jimeno Dalmai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Edward Mcdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Mcdonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafim Eanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafim Eanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Mcdonald hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, USA's Edward Mcdonald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafim Eanes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serafim Eanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Dalmai to make the kick off. Serafim Eanes made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Diego Bradley at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Dionisia. 1-1. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 60th minute of play. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Dionisia's Denis Ereinotz was substituted for Jimeno Dalmai. Dionisia made a substitution. Arnaldo Beturian replaced Mauro Esiquio. When Arnaldo Beturian fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dionisia's protests and gave Arnaldo Beturian a yellow card for diving instead. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. USA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Dionisia had won, even though USA had held more of the ball.
