Gualterio Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulgencio Kaiet kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Orlando Silvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Gilberto Illart could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Orlando Silvino made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Candido Tonete. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Niceto Illan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Gualterio Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Temperley's Niceto Illan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Illart, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Silvino to maneuver through the defense. Temperley made a substitution. Ildefonso Richie replaced Gualterio Lopez. Ildefonso Richie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 63rd minute, Ildefonso Richie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Kaapo Mastropiero kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Richie in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Tonete in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Orkatz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Orkatz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 85th minute. Niceto Illan made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Tonete in the 89th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Hermengildo Orkatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Hermengildo Orkatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
