Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Everardo Benino shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Montrel in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Felipe Montrel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Montrel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Everardo Beninos short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 30 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Montrel came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Felipe Montrel came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Montrel couldn't finish the play. TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Cosme Piorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 37th minute of play. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Arturo Constancio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arturo Constancio really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Piorno was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 47th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Piorno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 52nd match minute, TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Piorno having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Piorno came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Felipe Montrel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Montrel in the 77th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 82nd minute of play forced TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's goalkeeper Cosme Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Felipe Montrel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position.
