Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Sciarra in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 26 in the game by Filippo Pinti from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Alfredo Milani made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Mina during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Castagneto Po AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Filippo Pinti sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Filippo Pinti tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filippo Pinti was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Castagneto Po AFC made a substitution. Federico Ciccone replaced Andrea Pinti. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Nola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Emilio Sciarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Federico Ciccone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Castagneto Po AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
