Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play forced Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's goalkeeper Zeledon Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarl Tholsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Generoso Hotz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Quintin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Hotz in the 20th minute. Zeledon Quintin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Gustau's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 35 minutes, Donato Gustau made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeledon Quintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. Donato Gustau did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 43 minutes into the match. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeledon Quintin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Gustau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Lugo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Zeledon Quintin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Linea 174 Ramal Castillo from getting a goal against them. After 70 played minutes Linea 174 Ramal Castillo got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Lugo. Daniel Zorita shot from long distance after 70 played minutes, a shot that Zeledon Quintin with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeledon Quintin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Gustau in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Zeledon Quintin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Linea 174 Ramal Castillo from getting a goal against them. After 98 played minutes, Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Trond Sørli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Linea 174 Ramal Castillo reached it. Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
