Jan Puchlik was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Jan Puchlik. AS Monaco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Leonard Pawlak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Monaco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 25th match minute, AS Monaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Pawlak to maneuver through the defense. Jan Puchlik came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Grzegorz Jaktorowo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to AS Monaco FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jan Puchlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Puchlik. Jan Puchlik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldemar Karaszkiewicz was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Puchlik was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-5. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jan Puchlik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Facundo Cadaval ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Puchlik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Jan Puchlik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Grzegorz Jaktorowo charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grzegorz Jaktorowo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind AS Monaco FC's goalkeeper Jan Puchlik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
