Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apat Reina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Naldo Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apat Reina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 12th minute of play. José Paulo Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. If Belmiro Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apat Reina. Apat Reina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, José Paulo Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Retumbante FC's Kauã Mandrak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Apat Reina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Kauã Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Retumbante FC made a substitution. Jarbas Dantas replaced Basílio Cearense. The wind increased when José Paulo Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Apat Reina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apat Reina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Mendonça in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Apat Reina made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Retumbante FC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Retumbante FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 81st minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Retumbante FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kauã Mandrak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Retumbante FC's Kauã Mandrak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Apat Reina could save by the left post. After 87 minutes Retumbante FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apat Reina made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Retumbante FC to leave the ground with a draw.
