Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Kauã Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. After 13 minutes of play, Retumbante FC's José Paulo Mendonça made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belmiro Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eurico Galvão during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Eurico Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauã Mandrak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Décio Antonio went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. José Paulo Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Jonathan Ferrant throw himself and got hold of the ball when José Paulo Mendonça in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Kauã Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Mendonça in the 41st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauã Mandrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Retumbante FC's Jarbas Dantas was substituted for Basílio Cearense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Paulo Mendonça to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Mendonça in the 61st minute of the match. Retumbante FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kauã Mandrak took the corner. A collision led to Retumbante FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eurico Galvão hit a great ball. Apat Reina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute José Paulo Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, José Paulo Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 85th match minute, Retumbante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Mota to maneuver through the defense. José Paulo Mendonça scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
