Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 3rd play minute Garth Brough came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ellis Hoskin sent off a good shot on target. After 7 minutes, Garth Brough made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. In the 23rd minute Camilo Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garth Broughs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garth Brough got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Garth Brough reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. The goal made the score 5-0. After 47 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garth Brough to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 52nd minute of play. If Garth Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Brough, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jorge Sainz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Garth Brough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Garth Brough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Garth Brough's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Australian Youth Academy. Garth Brough stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Garth Brough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Garth Brough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Ellis Hoskin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garth Brough's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Uruguay:s Joaquin Gayoso showed great skill when he stopped Garth Brough:s penalty. Garth Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute Garth Brough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Ellis Hoskin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garth Brough went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Australian Youth Academy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
