The corner led Yalapa's Olaf Gall to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basri İhtiyar came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximiliano Escribano slotted it home off the left post making it 7-1 in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute Yalapa were awarded a corner. Olaf Gall went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 93rd minute, Ramon Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yalapa.
