Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Horia Poplăcean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 2nd minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 10th minute of play forced Dinamo Soimu's goalkeeper Horia Poplăcean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horia Poplăcean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Soimu's Vasile Runcu got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horia Poplăcean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horia Poplăcean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Dinamo Soimu's Xanti Gatnau in the 25th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dante Lacasa was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mexico through an amazing save. In the 26th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Poplăcean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xanti Gatnau in the 37th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Poplăcean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of play forced Dinamo Soimu's goalkeeper Horia Poplăcean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Horia Poplăcean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Grădinaru came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Xanti Gatnau made the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Kungla, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Dinamo Soimu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Cucu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horia Poplăcean made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dinamo Soimu throughout the match.
