The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ...ASGARD...'s Urbasa Jofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play. William Dahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Urbasa Jofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Dahlqvist in the 33rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Iulian Noica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Iulian Noica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute. When William Dahlqvist came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the ...ASGARD... fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Dahlqvist couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that William Dahlqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ...ASGARD....
