With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Victorino Diaz Montero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Konstantin Dobrinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 14th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konstantin Dobrinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AXi's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantin Dobrinski came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Victorino Diaz Montero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victorino Diaz Montero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexey Zafirov in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alexey Zafirov came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Alexey Zafirov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Ramond in the 40th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstantin Dobrinski having to make a save. In the 42nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Dobrinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aygün Akıncıbeyoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexey Zafirov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Aleksander Godholm in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Aleksander Godholm charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksander Godholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aleksander Godholm hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konstantin Dobrinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexey Zafirov in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konstantin Dobrinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexey Zafirov in the 75th minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 90th minute of play forced AXi's goalkeeper Konstantin Dobrinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexey Zafirov in the 93rd minute of the match. AXi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
