When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Axel Tasis sped through Real Olivos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martxot Lamiar. Real Olivos FC's Martxot Lamiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Real Olivos FC's Martxot Lamiar. Martxot Lamiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 18 played minutes Real Olivos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ortzi Ocouto. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Real Olivos FC's Fernando Falcón in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Fernando Falcón tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ixidor Aldaz during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Real Olivos FC's Martxot Lamiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Falcón in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 42 minutes into the match, Real Olivos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Martxot Lamiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. With a little luck, Real Olivos FC's Martxot Lamiar got control of the ball when Aaron Alcocer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haitz Eraña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alexander Carballo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Costa Rica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alexander Carballo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Costa Rica:s Benito Sanz showed great skill when he stopped Guaberto Sovera:s penalty. When Ortzi Ocouto fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Olivos FC's protests and gave Ortzi Ocouto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Real Olivos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ortzi Ocouto to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 87th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Costa Rica walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
