Chen Hai Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Grzegorz Mikulski was slow to take the kick. During this time CORSARZE's players had a chance to rest. Grzegorz Mikulski made a great header on CORSARZE's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oséias Veloso in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ksawery Andrychowski. CORSARZE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Nicolás Blandi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Ksawery Andrychowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ksawery Andrychowski having to make a save. Ksawery Andrychowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, José Bouchy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, CORSARZE's Chen Hai Yang got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind CORSARZE's goalkeeper Ksawery Andrychowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, CORSARZE's goalkeeper Ksawery Andrychowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 62nd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by CORSARZE's Oséias Veloso. But to his dismay, Oséias Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Bouchy in the 70th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CORSARZE's 江锋树 was substituted for Nicolás Blandi. 74 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of CORSARZE's Ksawery Andrychowski. Ksawery Andrychowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Ecuador players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
