The audience thought a goal was coming when Manilan Monterrey got free with Nils-Erik Jonsson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Natalio Marcones in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Med Gang FC's Huang Jian Peng. 21 minutes into the game, Natalio Marcones threw the ball into play from the sideline. Med Gang FC's Fransesco Lindwall quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Manilan Monterrey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Nils-Erik Jonsson made a huge save. In the 24th minute Liam de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benvido Fuica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Med Gang FC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Raven Heart's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qi Liang took the corner. Nils-Erik Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manilan Monterrey in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manilan Monterrey in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Erik Jonsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Benvido Fuica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hubert Valler in the 52nd minute. Hubert Valler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Benvido Fuica when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Med Gang FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Liam de Almeida hit a great ball. Hubert Valler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benvido Fuica came out and tried to block the shot, but Hubert Valler slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 62nd minute. Med Gang FC made a substitution. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Med Gang FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
