Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Sjödin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Samba Fotboll U21's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Sjödin came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Sjödin having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Samba Fotboll U21's Ivar Sjödin. Ivar Sjödin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 11 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. In the 14th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Sjödin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ivar Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 17th minute of the match. Ivar Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Sjödin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Sjödin. Samba Fotboll U21's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 30 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Ivar Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Miguel Miralles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 39th minute of the match. Samba Fotboll U21's Ivar Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Sjödin. Samba Fotboll U21's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After the first half Panama were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Samba Fotboll U21's Ivar Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 52nd minute of play. Ivar Sjödin was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-6. After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ivar Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Alex Cambeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Sjödin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Ivar Sjödin stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Berganza came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 60 minute. 64 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Ivar Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samba Fotboll U21's Ivar Sjödin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivar Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Miguel Miralles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samba Fotboll U21's Ivar Sjödin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Sjödin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 85th minute of play. Ivar Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Miguel Miralles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Ivar Sjödin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 95th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Sjödin was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
