Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Faruk Akbora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Ali Faruk Akbora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Recep Čalić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Recep Čalić's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emran Vatansever in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Arias during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CeNDeRe T.K.:s goal. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Çeliker Tanak:s penalty. In the 76th minute of the match CeNDeRe T.K. got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Çeliker Tanak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emran Vatansever in the 77th minute of play.
