Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Luque in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardino Telmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amador Patxi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Mauro Iruinea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Federico Urtats made a precise shot to the right of Bernardino Telmo. Pomona AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Urtats in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Telmo saved Pomona AFC from getting behind. Bernardino Telmo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Urtats's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 72 minutes Pomona AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oscar Ruggeri who took care of the corner kick. Juan do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Leopoldo Luque managed to get in a good position for a shot.
