Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Julian Murillo made the kick off which started today's match. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Hector Enrique shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Hector Enrique sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 33rd minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argoitz Abeijon in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 37th minute of play. If Joaquin Prats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argoitz Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Funes to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, River CBBA's Hector Enrique nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River CBBA's goalie prevented a goal. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of the match. River CBBA made a substitution. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 67th minute. Ponciano Abarca might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ponciano Abarca ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Matías Almeida got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. With a little luck, River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
