The supporters of Migalha S.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Chrisostomos Kazantzas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Migalha S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Chrisostomos Kazantzas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilano Haitz. If Rui Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atilano Haitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Atilano Haitz slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute, Atilano Haitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Fink came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Porfírio Freire hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Porfírio Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Fabiano Frois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Haitz couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Haitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Rui Fontes scored 6-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabiano Frois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes, Porfírio Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Migalha S.C. and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabiano Frois came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venezuela reached it. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiano Frois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Migalha S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabiano Frois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute. Migalha S.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Fabiano Frois, making the score, 6-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Fontes in the 90th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Migalha S.C. had played much better football throughout.
