Danilo Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Vicente Totakoxe with Ian Rush as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Danilo Urbasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Acheral's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After 22 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Urbasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute of the game Vicente Totakoxe made a throw-in which Ian Rush played forward. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Cavenaghi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toro Cavenaghi went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Acheral's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Danilo Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Cavenaghi in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 38th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufio Abalos in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Vivien Beaurepaire kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Toro Cavenaghi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ian Rush received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Acheral's goalkeeper Danilo Urbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 70th minute, Toro Cavenaghi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Cavenaghi in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Rush in the 74th minute of play. Ian Rush took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Urbasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Acheral's goalkeeper Danilo Urbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Urbasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Patricio Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Danilo Urbasa. The goal made the score 3-2. There was no doubt that Acheral were the better team. Acheral's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
