Gedeon Káposztás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Abram Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Gedeon Káposztás took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Gedeon Káposztás could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 52 minutes into the game, Gedeon Káposztás cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 57th minute of play forced Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Abram Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andréas Linquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Tafalla got free with Andréas Linquist in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás. But to his dismay, Gedeon Káposztás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jâninho Melo in the 81 minute of the game. Santino Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Linquist having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gedeon Káposztás, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Mastache got free with Andréas Linquist in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute of the match, Santino Seco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andréas Linquist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ignacio Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Grêmio Papão de WC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
