Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 4th minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Wellington Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wellington Montenegro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deivid Vaz during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Deivid Vaz got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wellington Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Vaz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Mangueira in the 17th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wellington Montenegro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wellington Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Joinville Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Geovanni Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Wellington Montenegro. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Geovanni Leite put in a rough tackle. Geovanni Leite hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Mangueira to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Catarinense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joinville Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Gonçalo Catarinense hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Wellington Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Wellington Montenegro in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Wellington Montenegro. Wellington Montenegro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 72 minute of play. In the 75th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Wellington Montenegro came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wellington Montenegro. That made the score 0-8 in the 85 minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Wellington Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. After 95 minutes, Luis Andino made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Joinville Esporte Clube's Wellington Montenegro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Joinville Esporte Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
