Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Narciso Bertassi got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Bertassi in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 11th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrigo Corvo charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arrigo Corvo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Arrigo Corvo got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. Leonides Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Egoi in the 27th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute Narciso Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Bertassi in the 33rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Narciso Bertassi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cable a Tierra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Narciso Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Mercurio in the 45th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Betão Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Telesforo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 57th minute Gavino Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Leonides Telesforo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Telesforo made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo managed to reach the ball for a save. After 70 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Mercurio. Leonides Telesforo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 77th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. Betão Prestes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Lacasa. Mexico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84th minute, Arrigo Corvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Telesforo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Egoi in the 86th minute of play. Luca Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
