Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jefferson Terra got the match started through his kick off. Silvio Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Ortle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Marian Czekaj sent off a good shot on target. Silvio Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Marian Czekaj sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute of the match Conakry FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernan Pierres ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 27th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Ortle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvio Ortle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Ortle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvio Ortle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Conakry FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Ortle came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Silvio Ortle made a huge save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Silvio Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 70th minute of play. With his leg Silvio Ortle managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Ecuador's Agustín Saelices fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Silvio Ortle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Conakry FC's Cyrus Bradley was substituted for Jefferson Terra. With a little luck, Conakry FC's Silvio Ortle got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Conakry FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvio Ortle quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Silvio Ortle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Ecuador's Agustín Saelices in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Conakry FC's goalie prevented a goal. Primitivo Andino made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvio Ortle having to make a save. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. The Conakry FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
