Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Martin Lain got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Rossi having to interfere. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alan Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Silvestre Cisco took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Naohiro Takahara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Walter Gaitán hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. Agustín Rossi came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Frontera AFC's Silvestre Cisco, in the 46th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Frontera AFC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Cisco made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. If Naohiro Takahara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frontera AFC's Martin Lain managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 62 minute of the game. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Frontera AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi did a great save. 83 minutes into the match, Naohiro Takahara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Naohiro Takahara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Naohiro Takahara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Silvestre Cisco struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera AFC. Alan Varela hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Agustín Rossi made a huge save.
