Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Leonides Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Telesforo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Bertassi. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Narciso Bertassi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Narciso Bertassi hit a great ball. Leonides Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play. Leonides Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Telesforo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Leonides Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. If Claudio Echeverri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Narciso Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cable a Tierra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Bertassi to make the kick off. Arrigo Corvo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Cable a Tierra's Narciso Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Narciso Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Corvo. Daniel Zorita, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's Claudio Echeverri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonides Telesforo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Bertassi in the 77th minute of the match. Cable a Tierra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Betão Prestes in the 79th minute. Betão Prestes made a great header on Cable a Tierra's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Telesforo having to interfere. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Narciso Bertassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Narciso Bertassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Telesforo. Cable a Tierra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Narciso Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cable a Tierra were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Betão Prestes took the corner. Betão Prestes made a great header on Cable a Tierra's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cable a Tierra to leave the ground with a draw.
