Bernabe Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tulio Maravilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Rodion Nikitin sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Rodion Nikitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Rodion Nikitin made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodion Nikitin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 64 minutes of play, Pousada 2 Pedros FC's Bernabe Nel made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. In the 84th minute Rodion Nikitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodion Nikitin went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Pousada 2 Pedros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tulio Maravilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Pimenta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Pousada 2 Pedros FC were the better team. Pousada 2 Pedros FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
