Jorge Mohammed was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Mohammed saved Club Palestino فلسطين from getting behind. Jorge Mohammed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Palestino فلسطين's Jorge Mohammed. Jorge Mohammed was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Club Palestino فلسطين's Rocky Dejardin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Club Palestino فلسطين's Rocky Dejardin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Rocky Dejardin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Rocky Dejardin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocky Dejardin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club Palestino فلسطين getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Anton Bulencea hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Mohammed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Rocky Dejardin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rocky Dejardin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rocky Dejardin in the 45th minute. Jorge Mohammed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Anton Bulencea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Mohammed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Zubaşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jorge Mohammed made a huge save. In the 64th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Tor Guarda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Mohammed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 68th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71stth minute of the game Rocky Dejardin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cezar Zubaşcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Club Palestino فلسطين got a freekick which was hit by Tor Guarda. Daniel Skrzypiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cezar Zubaşcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Zubaşcu in the 83rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Club Palestino فلسطين had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
