Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Billy Clayton started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Billy Clayton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Titanic of Belfast's Awa Pradnyana in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larry Bullock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Titanic of Belfast's Sonny Mansell got a free kick in the 15th minute. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Billy Clayton sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Titanic of Belfast's George Best got a free kick in the 20th minute. With an all-out effort, Titanic of Belfast's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Awa Pradnyana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Billy Clayton tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. Billy Clayton in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 35th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Awa Pradnyana in the 40th minute of play. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Billy Clayton lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. Billy Clayton came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. In the 52nd minute Awa Pradnyana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Titanic of Belfast's George Best got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosh Moon, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Awa Pradnyana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Clayton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Billy Clayton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Billy Clayton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Billy Clayton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Clayton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 82nd minute, Awa Pradnyana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Awa Pradnyana, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Titanic of Belfast's Larry Bullock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Titanic of Belfast from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Clayton in the 88th minute of play. Awa Pradnyana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere.
