Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Grentino FC's Erasmo Simão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erasmo Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gualter Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Erasmo Simão notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Xacintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Gualter Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grentino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Erasmo Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gualter Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grentino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Enol in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Amadeu de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Amadeu de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Simão in the 85th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fedor Delafosse fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grentino FC's protests and gave Fedor Delafosse a yellow card for diving instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grentino FC fully deserved thier win.
