Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Argen-Taino's Jeremias Stewarts fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Argen-Taino's Jesús Caminero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesús Caminero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Agustín Zapata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. In the 32nd minute Argen-Taino were awarded a corner. Graciano Verón went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Graciano Verón almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. In the 34th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesús Caminero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesús Caminero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phil Mills in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Stewarts struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argen-Taino. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Jeremias Stewarts kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Argen-Taino getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ramón Sosa hit a great ball. The Argen-Taino fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Argen-Taino's Jeremias Stewarts looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 61st minute, Gonzalo Vinicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Stewarts in the 64th minute of play. Jesús Caminero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Mills in the 68th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Agustín Zapata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Zapata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Argen-Taino's Stanley Manzanares was substituted for Graciano Verón. Ramón Sosa kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Argen-Taino booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Stewarts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Jeremias Stewarts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Stewarts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Agustín Zapata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. When Argen-Taino's Jeremias Stewarts in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Argen-Taino had won after a very even match.
