Perrucho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Perrucho FC's Jimeno Haimar got a free kick in the 5th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Hever having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marciano Hever was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Jimeno Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Perrucho FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Tomi. It was beautiful to see Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in action when he in the 17th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Blas Uzuri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Perrucho FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Hever came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Hever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Blas Uzuri fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perrucho FC's protests and gave Blas Uzuri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Perrucho FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Blas Uzuri hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play forced Perrucho FC's goalkeeper Marciano Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play forced Perrucho FC's goalkeeper Marciano Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Uzuri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Perrucho FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Tomi. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Marciano Hever didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 66th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 68 minutes Perrucho FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Marciano Hever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Perrucho FC's Marciano Hever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Perrucho FC from getting a goal against them. Marciano Hever was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 74 minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Hever having to interfere. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Marciano Hever made a huge save. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Hever having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Perrucho FC's goalkeeper Marciano Hever had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. 87 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marciano Hever. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marciano Hever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Marciano Hever in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador played a much better game than Perrucho FC and deserved their victory. The Perrucho FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
