Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Knut Henriksson struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FURIA FIEL. In the 9th minute, Napoleon Dzierwa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Napoleon Dzierwa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 11th minute, Knut Henriksson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Knut Henriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Henriksson in the 19th minute of play. Knut Henriksson scored 3-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonel Simão's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Simão helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes FURIA FIEL got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Simão. The FURIA FIEL fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when FURIA FIEL's Aníbal Motta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Henriksson in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FURIA FIEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Klucznik didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Henriksson in the 37th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Napoleon Dzierwa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Philip Boffin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 42 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Knut Henriksson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Knut Henriksson slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aníbal Motta to make the kick off. Vítor Abraão might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vítor Abraão ran back to his position shaking his head. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. 61 minutes into the game, FURIA FIEL's Aníbal Motta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Motta in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Napoleon Dzierwa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Napoleon Dzierwa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 84th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Knut Henriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Knut Henriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0.
